For anyone who has followed enjoyed/followed my writing, it should come as no surprise that I am a child of the 80’s. And being a child of the 80’s, I grew up on He-Man, Transformers, GI Joe, and Nintendo games.
I also don’t think I’ve written much on Trader’s Galaxy. So I am here to remedy that today. I am fan of Anthony Mallet’s creations. He is the head honcho of Trader’s Galaxy. He seems like a generally nice person. I’ve interacted with him a few times on the Facebook.
This month’s release on Tribes is one of the best of the year so far. I don’t actually play any of his games, but I do print most of the stuff. I truly enjoy it. Though with this month’s release of 3d printable dice, I might have to make an exception, and learn how to play. I like to support creator’s that embrace the 3d printing market, and I want to encourage more companies to do that same. I’m eagerly awaiting the day I can 3d print an entire Kreig army with official GW’s files. (Ok, I’m not, I’ve long since given up on supporting GW, and large army games are just not for me these days).
So this month you get a real smorgasboard from various games. You do need the All-In tier that costs about $20 USD for all this, but I feel like it’s worth it.
Nothing is pre-supported, so you will need to support everything yourself. This was a turn off for me at first, but with the software getting better and better, this is less of a problem. I have already printed all the valiants, and they printed most excellently.
I will also print the dice, and see how well they roll. I’m curious on how well fair the 3d printed dice are.
Here is a picture of everything I received this month.
